This race distance was created to invite a wider audience to experience the thrill of ultra trail running, making it accessible to more athletes and offering race-weekend participation for the support crew of ultra runners.
The route takes you over the iconic hill of Grønsennknippa, starting with trails along the west hillside and a 3 km gravel road section leading to the climb up to 1,368 meters. An aid station at 11 km offers water, sports drinks, and light snacks. The final 10 km features a mountain ridge traverse over Grønsennknippa, Svenskeknippa, and Noseknippa, ending with a steep descent and a 1.5 km sprint along Panoramaveien to the finish at Nøsen Yoga Hotel.
Route and Equipment Information
The route will be physically marked, but we highly recommend storing the GPX file on your GPS watch or a similar device for easy navigation.
There is no mandatory equipment required for this distance. However, please consider the following:
Check the weather forecast before the event and choose your gear accordingly.
There is only one aid station located at the 10 km mark.
If the weather is hot and sunny, we strongly recommend bringing additional water to stay hydrated.
