Participant Responsibility

Participation is at the participant's own responsibility and risk. The organizer is not liable for any expenses arising from injury, illness, or other incidents occurring in connection with the event.

Information and Compliance

Participants are responsible for reviewing and understanding all information provided by the organizer and must follow all instructions given. Assisting a fellow participant in an emergency is mandatory, and the organizer must be informed in such cases.

Route, tracking and Littering

Participants must follow the designated race route at all times which is the GPX file found on our webpage. The 100km and 50km route has no physical marking. The 21km will be physically marked however we recommend having the GPX file on your GPS watch or similar. You must not leave any litter along the way. Littering may result in immediate disqualification.

Data and Media

The participant’s full name, club, nationality, and birth year may be published in result and participant lists. Photos taken during the event may be used on the event’s website and social media channels.

Enrollment and Cancellation

Enrollment is binding. If a participant is unable to attend, the registration fee will not be refunded. In the case of event cancellation, 50% of the fee will be refunded.

Emergency Preparedness

Participants must store the organizer’s contact number, +47 476 55 018, on their mobile phone and carry mandatory equipment, as specified on the event website, in a backpack from start to finish. If using poles, they must be carried throughout the race.

Event Support

The 100 km race has two checkpoints, the 50 km race has one checkpoint, and the 21.1 km race includes one aid station. External support beyond these provisions is not permitted. "Pacing" (having a non-participant accompany a runner) is also prohibited.

Weather and Route Modifications

In adverse weather conditions, the organizer may alter the race route. Participants who withdraw (DNF) must notify the organizer immediately.

Policy Changes

The organizer reserves the right to modify terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on the website and/or in the race manual.

Age Limits

Participants must be at least 18 years old for the 50 km and 100 km races, and at least 12 years old for the 21.1 km race.
